‘Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit’ Announced

With the smash hit that is Cyberpunk 2077‘s (CP2077) and Netflix‘s Cyberpunk Edgerunner series, the hype train continues. Soon we’ll get a glimpse at what R Talsorian Games (RTG) has been cooking up for the eventual progression of Cyberpunk Red.

R. Talsorian Games is thrilled to announce the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit, a tabletop roleplaying game starter box set in Night City as shown in the hit series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

The Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit will guide fans of the series new to tabletop roleplaying through the process of telling their own stories in Night City. At the same time, existing players of Cyberpunk RED will get their first glimpse into the cyberware, firepower, and netrunning skills of the 2077 era.

Time of the Red and beyond?

If you’ve looked into any of the rich 34-year history of Cyberpunk 2020 (CP2020), you know Mike Pondsmith and RTG don’t do things by half. With the added tease of CP2077-era cyberware and firepower, it looks like we’re going straight to 2077 choom!

I’m hoping we see at least one sourcebook covering the period between the Time of the Red and 2077, maybe showing us key events. For example, The Unification Wars in America are heavily influencing CD Project Red’s: expansion for Cyberpunk 2077‘s Phantom Liberty, but wouldn’t it be cool to see/read the full impact of the Fourth Corporate War from around the world?

Arasaka Performance

We will be seeing some sick cyberware, weapons and netrunning in this mission kit, but will these previews be additions like their Cyberpunk Red DLC or major changes to the current rule system?

OR EVEN a tease of something entirely new?

What’s in the box?!

Finally with the physical version I’m hoping we get to see some great miniatures and scenery.

Previously we’ve seen collaborations between Monster Fight Club and MTG with their Kickstarter skirmish game Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone which featured unique terrain, miniatures and rule set.

Could we see something similar? I’m hoping so!
